Farrier Saw Sculpture
Nebraska artist Cindy Chinn (also known as The Saw Lady) has perfected a manufacturing process producing these amazing saw sculptures. Her own digitized designs are produced by a family owned metal fabricator in nearby Kansas who cuts them out of 18 gauge American Steel using a high-tech laser cutter. The handles are made using a computer controlled router at an artisan woodworking shop.
Cindy does the finish work and assembly in her shop, including hand applying the rust patina finish to the blades, sanding and staining the handles and assembling it all together. This allows her to offer a more consistent product, monitor quality and production, and support local businesses.
Measures 30" x 6" x 1" thick, has hook for hanging on back. Handles' hardwood is used according to supply, so wood color may vary slightly from photo. Indoor use only
