Columbia Brand Vintage Pants with zip-off feature to make into shorts. Perfect for traveling, hiking, etc where conditions change and you need to be able to adapt. These are well broken-in but there are no holes or thin places. All fasteners and zippers function as expected, as does the velcro pocket fasteners.
Fabric is 6.9 oz stonewashed Granite Cloth Lite (Carhartt-like cotton duck canvas) Machine wash and dry; can attest to the fact that they survive un-careful laundering.
Columbia is known for its quality outdoor wear. This exact style is apparently discontinued, but the mens convertible pants that the currently offer range from $60 - $85.

*Note about sizing: I can find no size tag on these pants. Waist size (34") was determined by laying them flat and measuring across the waist. Inseam (31") is exact length from crotch seam to hem.
