Back is embossed with an ornate horsehead with flowers. This 1.5" wide lead free pewter pendant is made in the USA by Sweet Bird Studio. It comes on a stainless steel "S" hook that easily attaches to any halter. It's accented with a turquoise resin bead.

Detailed Description

Horses pictured are Cherri C's Oakley and Ace, who is wearing the pewter Protect This Horse Bridle Tag. Cherri likely has one of the most well-traveled Protect This Horse Bridle Medallions out there. Purchased in 2011, it's been on the bridle of 3 different mounts, each carrying her safely on trails all over the USA. Zoom in to see how the medallion is so worn that it's no longer round, some of the words are now missing and though the turquoise is polished a bit flatter, it's still bright. Cherri considers it an essential part of her trail riding gear.

	Perfect sentiment for friends and their horses	6/24/2023
A friend of mine’s father owned a cattle ranch and I routinely helped move or roundup the cows who were grazed in the mountains all summer. Some of the areas we rode were very treacherous so when I saw this I thought perfect gift for the core group of women who I rode with. Great gift for those horse women you care about.

I received my first one of these as a gift. I loved it so much! I have since bought 4 more at different times. Each one I have taken from around my neck and given to someone I felt had a special gift with horses or someone that I had passed one of my horses to and wanted them to have a special bond with that horse and to remember where it came from.

I received this as a gift initially. Now I give it as a gift. I kinda wished the chain was nicer but If it gets broke, I wont feel bad. Also: I wear it under my shirt while riding and its been fine.

Love this pendant. I keep on my saddle so its with me every time I ride. Have purchased several for family and friends. They all ride with theirs as well. Nice to have a little prayer to keep horse and rider safe.
