Over ninety-four thousand intricate stitches rendered in twelve different colors, this sweet, clover-munching donkey is embroidered right here in HoofPrints' warehouse. Equine artist Lesley Bruce once again wins the blue; it's artfully rendered - the words EAT, BRAY, LOVE cleverly woven into the flowery tendrils.
*NOTE* Because the embroidery is so large and intricate, it requires a heavy felt backing to stabilize the fabric. I wash tested and wore the prototype versions, experimenting with different weights in order to achieve best results. I don't find the backing objectionable, but some folks might. It's not scratchy, but it is a bit stiff, will soften with laundry.
